How a Charmdate Scam All Started
Hello everyone! I’m a bit flustered to admit this, but I was charmdate SCAMMED today.

It all began with a match on Tinder: I encountered a girl named Minka on the app, a stunning blonde girl from Poland.
Just to keep you informed, I live in Tallinn, Estonia... (This will be significant later)
After we connected, we exchanged a handful of messages for days on Tinder, and I inquired what led her to this city. She stated that she relocated here for her job, among other things. Then I proposed we shift our conversation to Instagram, but she replied that she didn’t use Instagram and preferred Telegram, so we transitioned to that platform.
I usually have the natural instinct for steering clear of scams. We began texting, and she appeared somewhat reserved at the outset. The dialogue spanned over three or four days, and it did not come across as a charm-date scam whatsoever.
Our First Opera Charmdate Scam Date
It felt like a typical exchange where a guy had to put in effort to secure a date, yet there was no rush to take any action. She answered affirmatively when I asked if she would be interested in meeting up. What did I have in mind, she inquired? At around 8 PM, I recommended we visit this charm date pub that offered a beautiful view of the city.
I tried to find a middle ground by saying I needed to work and suggested we meet after 8 p.m., but she insisted that was too late and proposed meeting at 6 p.m. We agreed to meet for coffee around six o’clock after she said that it was getting a bit late. Then she expressed her excitement about seeing the opera musical, which was set to begin at 7 PM.
At that moment, I thought it would be wiser to keep things straightforward, as attending an opera for a first date felt a bit excessive.
However, she later told me that it would add unique vibes to our date and that she could purchase her own ticket while I would buy mine. (This made me think she was probably not a charmdate scammer from Tinder, and I started to laugh about the idea of an opera date since I had never been on one before).
She mentioned she was going to buy her ticket soon because there were only a few seats remaining and the performance was only on that night. She also sent me her ticket confirmation receipt, which made everything seem legitimate.
A charmdate Scam from Tinder Officially Started
I checked out the website she sent and started looking around to confirm everything; everything seems to be in order, and I even found the official address of the opera listed on the site along with all the available shows.
She told me she booked seat D6 and sent me a confirmation, mentioning that I could take seat E6 right next to her.
It comes with a standard booking form that has all the details. So, I went to the payment page to check it out. I entered my card information, and then it asked for a code, which I provided, but I got an error message saying the code was incorrect.
So I tried again as the website suggested, repeatedly. Eventually, I contacted customer support, and they said I needed to type and enter the code faster. I tried again, making sure that the code was indeed correct.
I kept running into errors, so after several attempts, I decided to check my bank account to see if the charge had been processed. I discovered that they had accepted several payments at that moment. I then reached out to customer service, requesting that they retrieve the payment and allow me to try the process again once those payments were refunded.
It was at that point I realized it was a scam when they asked for another link to a refund form, wanting me to enter my card details again.
So, when I talked to the girl again on Telegram, she started asking me a bunch of questions, looking really anxious and saying I should give it another try since she had her ticket.
It Turned Out to be a charm date Scam
However, I had already caught on to the charmdate scam, so I requested a call, but she blocked me on both Telegram and Tinder just moments later.
And that’s how I ended up being charmdate scammed on Tinder. Looking back, I regret allowing her to move our conversation to Telegram. If we had stayed on Tinder, the sharing of bank details and payments would never have occurred. I suspect these scammers operate multiple accounts across various dating platforms. They always seem to evade consequences for their actions. I reported the Charmdate scam to Tinder, but unfortunately, they were unable to take any action.
